Open Government

The city of Los Altos is dedicated to maintaining an open and transparent local government. As such, all regular and special City Council and Commission/Committee meetings are noticed and open for the public to attend. In addition, City Council and Commission/Committee meeting agendas and reports are available to the public in advance of each meeting. Meeting notices are emailed, posted online, and made available in hard copy at City Hall and the Los Altos Public Libraries. The public is invited and encouraged to attend, listen, and participate at City Council, Commission/Committee, and other public meetings. Below you will find a number of links to more information about important City topics as well as a list of ways you can get connected and stay up-to-date on City business.
