Established in 1976, the Los Altos Senior Program offers a wide variety of programs and volunteer opportunities for active adults 50 years and up.
Activities range from classes, trips, special events and travel to in-home repair, notary service, resource center and referral services.

The Senior Commission is a group of seven community members who advise City Council on senior needs in the community. For more information on the Senior Commission, click here.
The 2014 Senior Commission created a Resource Information for Seniors Manual that is updated annually. You may find a hard copy to look at in the Senior Program, Town of Los Altos Hills Parks and Recreation Office, Los Altos Library, Los Altos City Hall or Chamber of Commerce. Grant Senior Drop-In Program
The Grant Park Multi-Purpose Room auxiliary area has been designated as THE spot for local seniors to drop in on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. For more information about programming, click here.

There are age and income requirements that need to be met in order to qualify for the Utility Users and Library Tax exemptions. Review the requirements and download an application below. Once you have completed the Tax Exemption forms call (650) 947-2614 to schedule an appointment.
