Los Altos Police Department does not provide applicant fingerprint live scan services.

If you live outside the Los Altos area, check the California Attorney General website for participating live scan locations categorized by County. Due to COVID-19 most locations are either closed or operating with reduced hours, so it is recommended to contact them directly for the most up to date information.
Requesting employers and agencies shall provide the applicant a completed Request for Live Scan Service form.
